ED 605: Research Methods

Researching Literature in Education

When doing a literature search for topics in education, keep these principles in mind:

  1. Identify a topic that is broad enough to return enough quality sources to compose your lit review.
  2. READ literature reviews
  3. Gather your sources early in the semester. You can always find more if you need to.
  4. Write and revise regularly
  5. Reach out to your Graduate Research and Instruction librarian for support!
