Ebooks

Goucher Library has a multitude of ebooks on various platforms. These ebooks can be viewed online, and in some cases, downloaded to your device. All of our ebooks can be searched through our catalog, WorldCat Discovery. Below are the main collections we have access to.

Academic ebook Collections:

Around 2,000 ebooks based in the humanities.
Access available for multiple simultaneous users.

A growing selection of 225,000+ titles that support curricula, graduation rate trends and emerging courses.

Large collection of ebooks in all disciplines

Full text scholarly articles and ebooks in all disciplines.
WorldCat Discovery
To search only for ebooks, use the Advanced Search option. Type your search terms, expand "limit your search terms" below the search box, select format, then eBook.

Maryland's Digital eLibrary Consortium
Download bestsellers to Kindle and other ereaders! Requires library card from any Maryland public library. Don't have a card? You can get one at the Baltimore County Public Library on York Road in Towson.

Identifying and Accessing Ebooks in WorldCat

When searching in WorldCat Discovery, both books available in print and online will show in your search results.

To limit your results to only books with online availability, you should filter the results under Format to "eBooks."

An ebook can be identified if the result states it is "View eBook":
