Items delivered electronically or by local courier service may be available within 2 days of the request date.
Other materials not available locally may take up to 2 weeks to arrive.
Please allow plenty of time for your research needs!
You will receive an email at your Goucher email address when items are ready.
Books are held at the Service Desk on the main level (Level 3) of the library on the ILL shelf.

Articles from ILL may be emailed as an attachment or delivered via a Worldshare ILL link.
You will receive WorldShare ILL links by email. Retrieve articles immediately and save them electronically for your use.
Please note the following time constraints:
The lending library sets the due date. From arrival at our library, there are usually 2-3 weeks before the item must be returned to the Service Desk (Level 3 of the library).
The due date is noted on the paper label or strap attached to the item.
DO NOT REMOVE this paper strap!
The lending library decides whether to grant further time.
Renewals are most likely to be approved if made the week BEFORE the due date.
Send your renewal request to: email@example.com. Include the title of the item and the ILL number recorded on its label/strap.
If our renewal request is denied, you MUST return the item to us promptly.
We can then seek another copy if you request one. Consider photocopying pages before the due date.
Overdue items penalize all of our borrowers.
Lending libraries may block us from making further ILL requests, and may lend items to us less often.
Any borrower with outstanding overdue items will not have any additional ILL requests filled until all overdue items have been returned.
Please be careful to request renewals on time and to return overdues promptly.
