Researching Grants

The federal government offers many grants, but sometimes you want to focus more regionally or locally to seek opportunities. In addition to searching large, national databases, use Google, state websites, local websites, and local libraries and librarians to identify grants on a smaller scale. Additionally, think about professional organizations and businesses that may be interested in funding your opportunity. These resources can help you locate information about grants, foundations and other funding institutions, and some search strategies.
