Alumnae and Alumni

What to do when you're cut loose from Goucher's fabulous library resources.

Databases from home!

The Goucher College Library provides alumnae and alumni remote access to Annual Reviews.

  • If you graduated in the last few years and have a Goucher email address you can use those credentials (username/password).  If you need to reset your password please visit the Password Management page.
  • If you graduated earlier than 2005, contact the Goucher IT help desk at helpdesk@goucher.edu or (410) 337-6322. Tell them when you graduated and that you would like access to the library ALUM-ACCESS databases.
  • The help desk will notify you when your credentials have been established.
  • Once you are set up, remember to start your research from links in the list below -- this enables the proxy server that connects you to us.

For questions about database use, contact library@goucher.edu. For issues with your Goucher credentials, contact the IT help desk.

JSTOR

JSTOR, through their Register & Read program, makes available the archives of more than 1,900 journals for limited free reading by the public. You can sign up for a JSTOR account and read up to three articles for free every two weeks.  Recent additions bring more than five million articles from nearly 800 scholarly societies, university presses, and academic publishers into the Register & Read offerings.  Content includes scholarship in the arts and humanities, economics and politics, and in mathematics and other sciences.  In addition, JSTOR Early Journal Content includes nearly 500,000 articles from more than 200 journals published prior to 1923 in the United States and prior to 1870 elsewhere.
