Library Liaisons

The Library Liaison Program links librarians with the faculty and staff in the academic division in a mutually beneficial communications network. The program aims to foster mutual understanding and to provide a vehicle for addressing questions and concerns related to the Library’s support of academic programs. Liaison librarians ...

... are ambassadors for the library to the Goucher College community.  They are advocates for the library with regards to their departments and advocates for their department's needs within the library.

... often serve as the primary communication and service link between the library and the academic departments.

... assist with the development, management, evaluation, and promotion of the collections in assigned subject areas.

... may also provide specialized services, including research assistance and information literacy instruction.

... may serve as a Personal Librarian in the Senior Honors Thesis Program.
