Library Liaisons

The Library Liaison Program links librarians with the faculty and staff in the academic centers. The program aims to fostercommunication and support to academic programs.

Liaison librarians:

  • are ambassadors for the library to the Goucher College community.  They are advocates for the library with regards to their departments and advocates for their department's needs within the library.
  • serve as the primary communication and service link between the library and the academic departments.
  • assist with the development, management, evaluation, and promotion of the collections in assigned subject areas.
  • provide specialized services, including research assistance and information literacy instruction.
