Faculty Guide to Goucher's Library

Faculty Guide to Goucher's Library

The library specializes in teaching information literacy, research, and scholarly communication concepts and skills to support student growth and development.  Information literacy skills support the mission of the college to prepare students with a broad perspective for a life of inquiry, creativity, and critical and analytical thinking.

Librarians are experts in information literacy, research, and scholarly communication, and we are dedicated to supporting your students through various methods.

Librarians work collaboratively with faculty to design assignments, workshops and activities to support course goals.  Contact Liz Johns, Teaching and Learning Librarian at emjohns@goucher.edu for more information and to discuss your course.
