Researching the Literature of Digital Arts
When doing a literature search in digital arts, keep these three principles in mind:
1. Start your research early. Getting books and articles through interlibrary loan can take a week or two.

2. Use the various tabs at the top of this page to help guide your search for articles, books, public Web sites, and so forth. See the smaller boxes to the left and right on some pages for useful nuggets of information.
3. Don't hesitate to ask for help.
a. You can call the reference desk in the library at 410-337-6212 anytime during desk hours without an appointment. Click here for reference desk hours.
b. You can also ask a quick question or request a more in-depth and individualized research consultation by sending an email to Yvonne Lev, the Distance Learning Librarian. She is available by telephone 24/7 if you make an appointment in advance.
